Qashif Masud is a 7th Generation Craftsman. It skipped 2 generation with his Father and Grandfather, prior to them they were all Craftsmen. After completing his degree in 2010, he decided to revive the family tradition. The goal was to make handmade art, using tropical and exotic woods from around the world. Each item is handmade from raw timber that is planed, cut, sanded and finished to bring out the natural beauty of such woods.
My aim is to source the best quality timber available, and try to make sure that it comes from sustainability managed woodlands. If woods are bought from sources unknown, l will endeavor to make sure the timber is harvested legally. Timber used will come from legally recognised third party certificate programme for forestry i.e FSC ®, PEFC, SFI, CSA etc. I have vested interest in the sustainability of the Worlds Forrest, without trees l wouldn’t be able to continue the craft.
