Qashif Masud is a 7th generation craftsman. There was a slight gap of 2 generations before Qashif decided to bring woodworking back to the household. It was after completing his degree in Construction Project Management in 2010, that he decided to revive the family tradition. There was a clear vision, make handmade items out of tropical and exotic woods from around the world and showcase the wonderful beauty of quality woods. Each artwork is handmade; every piece of wood individually sanded and finished.
I aim to source only the best quality timber available and make every effort to ensure it originates from environmentally managed woodlands where sustainability is a prime concern. Timber is purchased from timber yards that have vested interest in sustainability of the World’s forest. All yards will have one (or more) of the internationally-recognised, third-party certification programmes for forestry (FSC ®, PEFC, SFI, CSA and so on). Individually purchased timber will be scrutinized to ascertain it is sourced from sustainable source and is legally harvested.
